My office will undertake representation in State and Federal cases from a simple infraction to the most serious felony or pre-indictment intervention.
In my career, I have defended hundreds of criminal cases in many states and various federal jurisdictions. These have included jury trials, motion practice, negotiations, appeals, and professional administrative hearings, such as State Bar Discipline Action and the Department of Motor Vehicles.

-The District Attorney, or U. S. Attorney, must provide us with the name and address of anyone to be called as a witness, as well as copies of every written or recorded statement of testimony. This will allow us to prepare our questions for each witness.
-The District Attorney, or U. S. Attorney, must provide us with any information or material in the possession of that office which would show that you are not guilty of the charges against you or which may enable you to get a lighter sentence.
-When provided copies of records showing any scientific test, I will investigate to see if the equipment was functioning properly and that the person giving the test was properly certified.
-Proof must be shown that you were advised of all of your rights. I will test the reliability of such advisement.
As you can see, what looks simple can be very complicated. Investigation may be required, as well as contact with expert witnesses.
Every aspect of your case will be scrutinized and examined and “when appropriate” challenged in court proceedings.
